[Part 2]

“Khushi!” Anjali’s low voice came. She literally had to bow her head to enter in her little cage-like room. “Di?” Khushi as always was hiding something behind her back.

“Chote….chote is coming!” Anjali’s voice shook with excitement.

“Kya?!” (What?!) Khushi could not breathe. She hold Anjali’s hands for support. “Di… are you telling the truth?”

“I heard dadi ji talking with bauji. Maybe he is coming tomorrow.” She laughed. “Now you don’t have to hide his pictures from me!”

Khushi blushed. “He is coming!” She murmured to herself. Her joy was touching on the sky. May be sky was the limit.

Arnav Singh Raizada, who was known as ‘Chote’ or ‘Chote Sahab’ was not only a friend of Khushi, but he was the only reason Khushi still hoped. His each and every word, his touch, his memory, everything was something she would never forget.

Also, his last day at Raizada Mension is also had a great effect on her mind. A 13 year boy Arnav had to leave his everything behind and attended Boarding school of Delhi.
Why? Because Mr. Avinav Raizada thought his son was spoiling being around Khushi Gupta, his wife.

[Before 14 years]

“Avi, is everything ready?” Shashi asked nervously. “Yes, yes… just check the security once again. I don’t want the news to leak now.” Avinav replied.

Whole interior house was adorned with flowers and lights. Though the faces were dull and didn’t hold any happiness. Shashi looked at her daughter who was playing with her doll.

Shashi’s daughter, Khushi was adorned with bridal apparel. Her small hands of 6 years was adorned with golden bangles. Her hairs were tide in a braid… and the small red ‘Chunri’ was reflecting her innocence.
“You know Sundari, today we will get married, real wala!(In real!)” She spoke to her doll.

She always made Arnav to play with her doll and be her imaginary bridegroom, much to his annoyance.

Now, every thing is happening in real!

Khushi looked at Arnav, who was confused with all these affairs.
After all, he was only 8 years old!

[Flash back ends]

There were many phone calls from Arnav. Many cards, many greetings, many letters… but none of them were given, or even shown to Khushi.
After all who was she?

Everything changed after her father’s death. Arnav’s father declared that his family will not consider her as the bride of his son. Though his granny said it depended on Arnav only.

Each day, each moment was passing with the wait of Arnav. And each passing moment make Khushi believed that she loved Arnav.
She had only some memory of the little Arnav of 13 years, when she was only 11. But even without knowing him for the past 14 years she could tell that he was and is his prince charming, who saves her princess from all evil.

Her heart swelled with passionate love for him.

“Come fast, my love…. I am waiting….” She clutched their wedding photo.
